Our Fraction Riddle

In front of us is a bag with colored fraction pieces just like the ones found in the Fraction Kit below.

In the bag is a 1/2 piece, two 1/8 pieces, and one other piece that is equivalent to two of the pieces already mentioned. The sum of all three pieces is one whole.
